WHAT WE DO
In order to improve post natal care, we work to directly educate and train mothers on household and community practices, to empower and efficiently equip them to create an enriched environment for newborn survival as well as foster healthy growth and development.
Our approach includes:
Organizing seminars and workshops
Construction of Healthcare Centers in Severely Under-served Communities
Organizing trainings and sensitizations both in rural and urban areas
Developing simple, educational resources to support new mums
Online sensitizations and campaigns
Donations of enabling materials such as diapers, clothing and newborn essentials
Organizing mother to mother support groups to encourage new mums to maintain exclusive breastfeeding.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES

To ensure newborn survival and wellbeing in the early days and weeks after birth.
To promote exclusive breastfeeding as an all-inclusive factor in the health, development and wellbeing of infants.
To advocate prompt immunizations and vaccinations.
To ensure adequate care of the umbilical cord.
To advocate post-partum family planning as an effective way of ensuring newborns have the attention and responsive care they need for healthy growth and development
To promote optimum hygiene in infancy
To create awareness on danger signals to look out for in newborns in the early days and
